Canva vs. Lucid Press
I definitely prefer Lucid Press over Canva in regards to creating my own content. Lucid Press has a lot more options, including the fact that my work doesn't have to be shared as a link. There is a diverse selection of templates to choose from on Lucid and Canva, but I believe Lucid has a greater range of ideas to work from. Lucid was easier to use, but I think Canva provided more free content.

02/01/17 - Words for Teenagers
I completely agree with this quote, it's short, but an eye opener. Most teenagers nowadays, or at least the ones I know, don't have a lot of sense of responsibility. They're used to their parents cooking for them, doing their laundry, cleaning up their messes, paying for their gas, and when the time comes for that kid to go off to college, how are they supposed to take care of themselves? My parents have always believed in learning things the "hard way." Growing up, I was always responsible for cleaning my own room and cleaning the kitchen for my mom who would cook my meals until I was old enough to cook my own. I was never payed an allowance for chores, and it wasn't a favor to my parents. Learning how to do simple things like mopping (which a lot of my friends have never done) is a favor to yourself so you know how to take care of yourself when you're no longer living with your parents. So, yes, I agree, it's better to grow up and learn how to be responsible than complain to your parents about all the work you think you're doing at this age.
